We really had a fantastic Independence Day in Boise - here is our night told with pictures:

We had the sweet Blackcat Firework's special selection of fireworks as well as some hand picked by each child at the stand. Grandpa Knorpp was the referee among the crazed grandchildren.

Andrew looks so little and full of wonder...

Not every child had the same reaction to the fireworks - here are a few:

Cousin Alicia is not really sure about it...

And Cousin Bradley KNOWS it is just too darn loud - notice the earplugs...

Sarah thinks it's too loud but she's still got that magical look in her eye.

Elijah is so totally into it as evidenced above and with the tight shot below. I believe he is truly on the edge of his seat.

Just in awe of the power...

But Andrew's takes the cake for me - he is seriously impressed!
And then...
there was Evan Green's super Fireworks display - set to music and all...
Evan work black sweats with a mask and glove - drenched in water so as to not get burnt - and then he worked his magic - with a show that he plans all year and performs annually!

I just absolutely love this last one -
