If you didn't know it - my ultimate goal is to move out to some land - not much necessarily - a couple of acres would do...but it has to be able to support some small livestock i.e. chickens, goats, maybe some ducks. Anyhow, we're working on how we'll get there...but in the meantime I have started listening to someone who has already done it. A young couple who moved from so-Cal to rural Indiana...and started a farm(they still go to work - this is just a small farm on the side). They have a site and more importantly a podcast - and it's good! Go and check it out - if you like knitting, chickens, gardening, star gazing, or anything else we geeks like.
